USA #1 from Jason Michel on Vimeo. On Sept. 29th 2001, I drove to Washington DC to document anti and pro war rallies and to see the damage to the Pentagon from the Sept 11th attacks first hand. On the same day, I drove back to my home in North Carolina and filmed an event called 'Ooh La La' at the Visulite theater. The juxtaposition of these events stirs up an interesting mixture of emotions.
